Washington Khmu Youth Logo and Branding
WA Khmu Youth (WKY) is a nonprofit group in Seattle that helps keep the Khmu culture alive and teaches youth about their heritage and history. WKY hired ConceptShell in 2022 to create its logo design along with multiple assets for programs and events to raise awareness in the local community.
The colors, lines, and children we drew into the WKY logo were inspired by patterns and detail seen in authentic Khmu clothing and the style of traditional dance. Branded T-shirts, hats, event flyers, social media graphics, and giveaways including informational coloring books help raise funds to provide youth and family events with interactive learning opportunities such as gardening and camping retreats.
WKY continues to flourish and has hosted many events with over 100 attendees. It was recognized as a strong community leader when it hosted the Family Zone at the very first Sabaidee Music & Culture Festival in California, held in March 2023. WKY continues making a welcoming organization for its Khmu youth and supporters of different cultures. We wish WKY continued growth and opportunities for many more years to come.
